I stopped by Chapters the other day and treated myself to a book and of course it is about hockey. On the table for Mother’s Day I found “Home Ice Reflections of a Reluctant Hockey Mom”by Angie Abdou. I thought I would start a little book of the month club and share what I am reading with you guys. I love sports books and motivational books, some fiction and some poetry.
So far I am 3 chapters in and I am loving it. I won’t give the details on the book but as a hockey mom I hard time putting it down last night. Note to self, “do not start reading at 10 pm”.
I am also looking for suggestions for future months. I have stacks by my bed that I plan on reading this summer at camp. Some past ones if you are into hockey that I really liked were “All the Way” by Jordin Tootoo and “Bear Town” by Fredrik Backman.
